A composite/porcelain filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, and etc. These affected areas are removed and adjusted then filled with composite. Due to the fact that composite is tooth colored, we can closely match the color of the existing tooth making it aesthetically pleasing and durable to last many years. However, it is normal to feel some form of sensitivity to hot and cold for the first couple of days. The feeling with subside after the tooth has accommodated to the filling.
